I have created this content to address the decay in performance culture caused by a decade of zero interest rate policy. The spirit of relentless risk-taking in companies (esp. startups) has been replaced by a culture of lifestyle. Founders often prioritize comfort zones over obvious rational changes and continue sleepwalking into mediocrity.
I have over 15 years of experience as a CFO or interim CEO for eight different companies. My first entrepreneurial experience dates back to elementary school when I ran a toy-rental and school supplies reseller outlet 🙂 Fast forward 20 years, I ventured few small businesses (the word ‘startup’ was not yet in the dictionary). In 2019, I led a R&D venture in insect protein. In the meantime, I have worked with dozens of founders, CEOs, investors, and banks.
Today, my focus is on building and leading finance operations as a CFO to provide performance insights to management teams.
